Things to Consider While Renting a Bounce House

fun slide

Of course, your Kids Birthday Party is one of the most important events in the life of your little one. And it’s everybody’s guess that you want him or her to have the best experience during this important day. You may also want a place where his or her friends will play together, eat and just be kids without any restriction or worry about their safety.

Bounce house locations and indoor playgrounds are fun for a wide range of events and ages. As a parent, you might be thinking about having the party at your home and even renting a bounce house or inflatable. If that’s the case, then we would strongly recommend that you consider the following before renting.

  1. Types

Bounce houses are no longer the small inflatables designed simply for bouncing up and down. Nowadays, they come with interesting themes and they’re meant for different purposes. With many options available, you can choose the type that best suits the needs of your little ones. For instance, an obstacle course Bounce House is what you should go for if you want to watch your little ones engage in funny races. As a parent, you’ll have a great time watching your child and his or her friends struggle to run through the strange terrain.

  1. Age

The age of the kids dictates the size and theme of the bounce house you’re going to choose. Generally, smaller children will enjoy themselves more in a smaller bounce house while bigger kids will have a great time in a larger inflatable.

  1. Location

You should make sure that the location you have is suitable and that you have enough space for the size of your bounce house or other fun play equipment. Remember to consider overhead wires as well as the proximity of any other nearby object. For instance, be sure to keep it away from a fence so that you can avoid any possible damage to the rented bounce house.

Also consider the condition of the ground where you’ll place your bounce house. The best option is to set it up on lush grass, as kids will need to remove their shoes before they enter. Let the rental company confirm whether the surface you’re planning to use is safe and okay with them first before you go ahead.

I was looking to rent a bounce house for my son’s birthday but didn’t know that there were different types. I think that bounce house rentals are a good way for the kids to experience something fun and different. It’s also a good idea to have easy access to the area that the company will deliver the bounce house to. Thank you for sharing your insights!

Well, I wonder if I can get a bounce house big enough for adults? I want to get one for my wife’s 30th birthday. It would be so much fun to get a big bounce house for her and all of our friends. I want to really make this party a huge bash. A bounce house is what we need. Now if I can find one big enough for grown up kids.

For years my son has been begging and pleading to have a bounce house at his birthday party. This year I finally gave in and now I need some help choosing one to rent. I like how you mention to make sure the location you have is suitable for the size of the bounce house. I will have to measure our backyard and make sure one can even fit back there! Thanks for sharing!

My daughter is turning 8 soon, and wants to have bouncy houses at her party. I think it would be a blast, and that her and her friends would have a great time. I like what you said about deciding what to get based on their age. I want to make sure they have lots of fun, so I’ll be sure to find some that are age-appropriate.

I like that you point out that there are a variety of different bounce houses to choose from. I can see why it would be good to consider getting a type of maze for older children. My nephew is turning 8 next April. I’ll have to talk with my sister about renting one for his party.

I agree that making sure the location you choose has enough space for a bounce house rental. My wife once rented one without taking proper measures of the space. When the bouncy house got there it didn’t fit right. They were able to find another space last minute, which doens’t always work out, so really good advice!
